Assoufid Golf Club Marrakech
Situated just outside of Marrakech is one of the country’s most stunning desert courses. Assoufid Golf Club Marrakech has won an award for being both Morocco’s best golf course and Africa’s best golf course which is a true reflection of the sheer quality of the club.
Since opening 2014, the desert course has gone from strength to strength with the sloping fairways and well guarded greens proving challenging for all golfers. With the Atlas Mountains for a backdrop, the course is a truly spectacular place to play.
PalmGolf Marrakech Ourika
Any course managed by Troon Golf is going to be a serious golf place to play golf. Located just outside the buzzing city of Marrakech lies an oasis of pristine green grass and shimmering water features at this beautiful par 72 layout.
The course is set in the foreground of the magnificent Atlas Mountains and measures in at 7,300 yards from the tips, just long enough to provide a test for even the bigger hitters out there. However, the course ranges in lengths depending on which set of tees you decide to play from and is a more than manageable challenge for the more social players amongst us.
Tazegout Golf Course
Set in the rugged rocky outcrops of Agadir and surrounded by Argan trees, Tazegzout Golf Course provides golfers with stunning views out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Situated at 80 meters above sea level, panoramic views of the ocean can be seen throughout the course at it winds for 7,513 yards for the harsh natural vegetation.
The course itself is build up to the dramatic final 3 holes which play over 2 deep ravines and along the edge of an 80m cliff drop respectively. The stunning clubhouse is a wonderful place to take in the beauty of natural surroundings and discuss that beautiful tee shot you hit down the last.
Samanah Country Club
Golf’s most celebrated player has an empire of stunning courses worldwide and none are more incredible than Samanah’s course. The course is set in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and is a great blend of high class course design and the already beautiful landscape.
In true Nicklaus fashion, imagination and guile are required in order to safely navigate yourself around here with many holes featuring ‘risk & reward’ with cleverly placed water hazards. Ranked inside the world’s top 100 courses, the immaculate design and impeccable condition of the course means it is only going to continue rising up the list.
